Description :
The Automation Engineer will oversee testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
This role involves designing test strategies, executing manual tests, and utilizing automation tools to validate functionality.
Responsibilities include logging and tracking issues, collaborating with development teams, and supporting both operations and customer service in resolving technical challenges.
Responsibilities :
Analyze feature designs and enhancements to identify potential issues and edge cases.
Develop comprehensive test plans from specifications and discussions.
Conduct manual testing across multiple projects simultaneously.
Document and track bugs in a database, ensuring timely resolution by the development team.
Guide projects through all stages, from development to production deployment.
Collaborate with management and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Assist in resolving operational challenges and field issues for live products.
Address critical issues to ensure smooth product releases.
Required Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
At least 2 years of experience testing large-scale, consumer-focused web applications.
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Proficient in analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Desired Skills :
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a significant advantage.
Compensation :
Pay Range : $44-$63 / HR
