Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Tester I
Location: Remote - U.S.-Based

Description:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester I to support testing efforts and drive the quality of application software solutions across the energy or services industries. The QA Tester will be responsible for designing and executing automated testing processes, working within an agile development framework. This individual will contribute to testing strategies, build automation frameworks, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient, high-performing, and scalable applications.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing reliable software testing protocols, demonstrate strong communication skills, and bring a detail-oriented, analytical mindset to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development or operational roles focused on quality assurance in enterprise-level applications.
Proficiency in designing automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
Hands-on experience with general scripting languages used in automation testing.
Familiarity with test strategies from unit testing through integration and system testing.
Experience working within agile development teams (e.g., Scrum).
Ability to write clean, maintainable test scripts and effectively troubleshoot software issues.
Strong understanding of relational database systems.
Proficient in using version control tools.

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of test automation libraries and tools such as those based on web drivers or similar.
Exposure to multiple programming languages commonly used for testing or application development.
Experience in testing backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes as it relates to QA.

Pay range: $41.62-$61.20 per hour
