Title: Data Engineer (EDI Claims)
Location: Hybrid (Northeastern U.S.)
Description:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to manage encounter data submissions to regulatory entities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting data mapping issues, ensuring adherence to industry standards, writing complex database queries, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare data, encounter reporting, and SQL programming.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Database Management, or related field.
5 years of experience in SQL database development, including stored procedures, functions, and data mapping.
3 years of experience with complex healthcare data, including claims and enrollment.
Strong knowledge of EDI standards.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with development environments including .NET, XML, and data integration tools.
Desired Skills:
Experience with compliance and regulatory reporting.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for data submissions.
Knowledge of automation and process improvement techniques.
Employment Type:

Compensation:
Pay range: $125k-$135k per year
