Title : IT Procurement Technology Lead
Location : Hybrid within the Northeastern Region
Description :
The IT Procurement Technology Lead will oversee the alignment of business and technology needs within procurement operations, focusing on system enhancements, process optimization, and strategic partnership development. This role is critical in supporting end-to-end procurement processes and systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities :
Manage the project portfolio and ensure alignment between business requirements and delivered solutions.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of procurement IT systems, including e-procurement, contract management, supplier management, and spend analysis.
Perform basic and complex configurations within SAP Procurement to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with IT teams, procurement stakeholders, and business units to align and coordinate IT initiatives.
Provide training and coaching to procurement staff on system use and best practices.
Analyze current and future procurement IT needs and recommend optimal solutions.
Ensure the integration, security, performance, and reliability of procurement IT systems.
Monitor and evaluate IT systems to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Govern Application Management Service teams to ensure adherence to technical standards and policies.
Stay updated on ERP technologies and share insights with the team.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
7 years of experience in procurement IT systems design, development, implementation, and support.
Experience with SAP Procurement, including ECC modules and integration with supporting applications like SRM, Ariba, and EDI.
Familiarity with ABAP code reading and S / 4 HANA is preferred.
Knowledge of project portfolio / lifecycle management and supporting application interdependencies.
Proficient in programming languages, databases, web technologies, and software development tools.
