Title : Machine Learning Engineer - Applied / Product
Location : Fully Remote or Hybrid within Major Tech Hubs (Boston, SF Bay Area, Seattle, NYC)
Description :
The Machine Learning Engineer - Applied / Product will play a key role in developing scalable, high-impact ML-powered products that drive continuous experimentation and data-driven improvement. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing ML models, pipelines, and services that enhance user experience and business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in machine learning and data engineering, combined with product intuition to shape and drive innovation in ML-powered applications.
Required Skills :
Experience in advertising technology (AdTech) and a strong understanding of the space.
Hands-on experience with consumer-facing machine learning problems, such as recommender systems or personalization models.
Proficiency in ML pipeline orchestration and workflow automation tools (e.g., Airflow).
Experience with build systems and continuous integration (e.g., Bazel, CI / CD).
Strong background in distributed data processing using Spark (Python or Scala) and other SQL-based computation frameworks.
Ability to contribute to product-market fit discussions, providing insights on ML implementation and strategy.
