Description
- We are seeking a skilled Network Access Control Engineer to manage the deployment and configuration of enterprise access control solutions.
- This role includes the creation and maintenance of policies that regulate device access based on compliance posture, as well as the integration of network access control tools with other enterprise security systems.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in access control frameworks, a deep understanding of modern infrastructure, and strong scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience deploying and administering enterprise network access control platforms
- Proficiency in creating and managing access policies based on compliance and posture rules
- Ability to integrate NAC tools with various enterprise systems (e.g., identity directories, security monitoring, firewalls)
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
- Understanding of cloud and virtualized infrastructure and their dependencies
- Familiarity with strategies for high availability in network environments
- Practical experience in scripting or automation using tools such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to maintaining and updating technical documentation
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with network access control platforms or endpoint visibility technologies
- Experience with advanced network monitoring or intrusion detection systems
- Familiarity with emerging network security paradigms such as zero trust
- General understanding of network infrastructure and routing concepts
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code practices and automated deployment methodologies
- Industry certifications such as network or cloud security credentials (e.g., security, networking, cloud provider certifications)
