Description
The Senior Product Manager, Growth, is responsible for driving the expansion of a self-service business, enhancing customer interactions, and maximizing user value from products. The role involves creating seamless and effective user experiences, leveraging data insights to boost engagement, and fostering a culture of experimentation to refine strategies. This position focuses on building a high-performing growth team and implementing a data-driven approach to improve key metrics such as acquisition, retention, and monetization.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy : Develop and implement strategies to increase adoption, user engagement, and conversion rates for freemium products.
Product Analytics : Analyze data to identify trends, track performance, and inform decisions. Use insights to enhance the customer journey and drive growth opportunities.
Experimentation : Design and execute A / B tests and growth experiments to improve acquisition, retention, and monetization. Adopt a test-and-learn approach to validate ideas quickly.
User Journey Optimization : Collaborate with design and engineering teams to reduce friction and create effective onboarding experiences that convert users into paying customers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align growth initiatives with organizational objectives.
Product Roadmap : Incorporate customer feedback to shape product roadmaps and support growth strategies.
Market Research : Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
Revenue Growth : Enhance revenue by improving free-to-paid conversion rates, optimizing upsell strategies, and refining pricing models.
Required Skills
5 years of experience in product growth roles, particularly in scaling B2B SaaS environments.
Demonstrated success in driving growth within SaaS, especially with freemium models.
Expertise in analytics and data-driven decision-making, with experience using tools like Mixpanel or similar.
Strong understanding of product growth cycles, including acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
Proficient in A / B testing and optimization techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to simplify complex problems and translate them into actionable roadmaps and experiments.
Desired Skills
