What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Production position at Mitchell's Fresh Salsa?
New accounts are on the horizon soon and we need to add another team member.
Assist in the prep and production of our various salsa food and non food items. Prep includes but not limited to, chopping cilantro, garlic, jalapenos, tomatoes etc. Production includes mixing salsa ingredients by hand, portioning and boxing the salsa containers. Non food prep such as date coding boxes and containers is part of the role. We train everyone to do a little of everything. Team work is key!!
There is no ” its not my job”!! General kitchen clean up at the end of the shift.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift reasonable weight.
Schedule: must be able to start at 6 am and work 7-9 hours a day.
Full time is primarily a Monday – Friday Day shift position. No regular nights or weekends. During high volume times we may have the need to work a weekend shift but this is not common.
