Mitchell Technical College is seeking a full-time Social Science / Behavioral Science instructor to join Mitchell Technical College general education team for the 2025-26 school year.
If you have an advanced degree and relevant work experience in Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Lifespan, Counseling, Ethics, Critical Thinking, or Philosophy, this teaching opportunity may be a fit for you. The specific teaching assignment will depend upon the needs of the 2025-26 schedule.
Requirements and Qualifications
Degree
- A master's degree including 18 graduate credit hours in the subject you will be teaching is prefered.
Experience
- Teaching experience is preferred, but we will consider individuals with strong educational backgrounds and excellent planning and communication skills.

Annual Security Report/Campus Security Crime Statistics
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request. Mitchell Tech’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported Clery crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus safety and security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault prevention and response, timely warnings, emergency response, and other matters.
