Warehouse Laborer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for day shift (6 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m.) and swing shift (3 : 30 p.m. - Midnight) warehouse laborers to perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in freightPrepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsOpen bales, crates and containersMaintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventoryPrepare required paperwork and systems information per the SOPMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping their personal workspace, warehouse floor areas, pallet area, equipment and work company equipment neat; Sweep and mop their assigned area daily. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all timesMaintain a high level of Safety by following documented safety processes. Wear the proper safety equipment for the assigned taskOvertime will be available!RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.Regularly lift and / or move objects 10-50 lbs occasionally 2-man lift and / or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlOccasionally required to sit and climb or balanceSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.High School diploma or equivalent preferred1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferredGood communication, organizational, time management mathematical skillsDependable and ReliableInventory, Equipment certification, data entry and computer skills may be required
