Summary
Material Handler Specialist is responsible for handling, moving, replenishing and storing various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse and production facility.
What You'll Do
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or productionareas, load docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or otherequipment.
- Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (includinguse of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard theenvironment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
- Safely loads and unloads vinyl racks with a fork lift andperforms necessary system transactions accurately.
- Effective time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision to complete tasks.
Who You Are
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage production requests effectively.
- Proactive and efficient.
- Proficient in verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
- Capable of identifying and locating the right products during the picking process.
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments to replenish material for production lines.
