What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Tech NSW position at MITER Brands?
Summary
Service Technician/Installer We are looking for an experienced carpenter or someone experienced in window, sliding glass door and entry door installation to support our installation teams.
What You'll Do
A preferred candidate should be able or trained to:
- Trouble shoot problems
- Visit job sites
- Re-glaze windows
- Service Sliding Glass Doors
- Inspect the project with customers for final product acceptance
- Repair issues on jobs
- Communicate with service manager, production manager on issues as they arise
- Ensure you have materials for projects prior to job
- Communicate effectively with customers before during and possibly after service.
Who You Are
Requirements:
- Candidate must have experience with window and door installation and service or 2 years of carpentry experience
- Must have good customer service skills and can communicate well verbally and in writing
- Must be organized and have good follow up skills and be computer literate
- Experienced with framing and window trim out preferred
- Must have a clean valid driving license

- Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with assistance.
- Use of hand tools
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Required to travel to service sites daily.
