Summary
SUMMARY We are looking for a professional who is experienced in installing and servicing windows and doors. This Door/Window Service Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customer’s home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail oriented. They will also have a minimum of 3 construction related experience.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a professional who is experienced in installing and servicing windows and doors. This Door/Window Service Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customer’s home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail-oriented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Trouble shoot problems.
- Visit job sites.
- Re-glaze windows.
- Service Sliding Glass Doors.
- Inspect the project with customers for final product acceptance.
- Repair issues on jobs.
- Communicate with service manager, production manager on issues as they arise.
- Ensure you have materials for projects prior to job.
- Communicate effectively with customers before during and possibly after service.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have experience with window and door service.
- Must have good customer service skills and can communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Must be organized and have good follow up skills and be computer literate.
- Experienced with framing and window trim out preferred.
- Must have a clean valid driving license.

- Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with assistance.
- Use of hand tools
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Required to travel to service sites daily.
