2 days on 2 days off ( 7am to 7pm Shift)
Hourly rate is $21.00 !!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The overall duties are to provide assistance to the production floor by loading, unloading, and moving materials within plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to move baskets, materials, containers, etc.
- Moves and stacks 16 foot profile baskets with fork lift.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trucks, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or with forklift.
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
- Operates forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Cycle count & maintain inventory of finished goods.
- Operation of scan guns for inventory control.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
- Safety glasses and ear plugs are required at all times on the production floor by all team members.
- Steel toe boots that meet ANSI requirements are required for all team members working on the production floor.
- Proper clothing required per employee handbook
- Refer to Safety Handbook for other safety equipment requirements such as shoes and tools.
WORK CONDITIONS (NOISE, TEMPERATURE, ETC...)
- Exposure to temperature variation consistent with outside weather conditions.
- Hazards associated with working with Machinery.
- Hazards associated with using power tools.
- Hazards associated with being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Lunch/break times are at the discretion of work flow. All lunches/breaks are paid.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Previous fork lift experience preferred.
- Must be able to read/write and understand the English language.
- Must be able to compute basic math, adding, subtracting, multiplication & division.
- Must be able to use/read a tape measure, calipers and saws.
- Computer skills/knowledge of general computer operations.
- Able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
- Must possess a valid PA driver’s license and a working telephone.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to perform the essential job functions.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively communicate with co-workers.
