Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal.
Skills
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or nightclubs, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
