- Utilize fork truck to move and stage material.
- Pallet weight restrictions.
- Securing pallet loads.
- Product specific pallets.
- Perform Movex transactions as required.
- Calculate recyclable scrap weights:
- Heels
- Non-conforming sheet
- Perform housekeeping/TPEM/5S as required.
- Operation of automated material handling system:
- Squaring table.
- Pick and place.
- Lift / roller conveying tables.
- Emergency stops, gate interlocks.
- Skiver operation: Start up inspection, Set-up, manual and Auto operation, preventive maintenance, emergency stops and guarding.
- Take-off (sheet straightener) operation: Start up inspection, Set-up, manual and Auto operation, preventive maintenance, emergency stops and guarding.
- Oven operation X2: Billet loading, Billet retrieval, Temperature settings,
- Billet soak times, preventive maintenance.
- Record quality information on Data Collection sheets
- Verification of measuring tool calibration.
- Work in process inspection.
- Understand warehouse locations, skid tags, sheet labels and basic plant layout.
- Be aware of when equipment requires maintenance and notify proper personnel.
- Read manufacturing orders, product identification, check product quality.
- Demonstrated measurement skills; ability to use various measuring devices with above-average accuracy.
- Previous molder / shaper experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift.
- Demonstrated ability in use of saws.
- Computer literate.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong math skills.
- Complete understanding of quality control.
- History of safe working behaviors.
- Ability to solve problems/troubleshoot with minimal supervision.
- Communication skills.
- Physical abilities - refer to job analysis.
- Attention to detail.
- Team Player.
- Strong ability to work independently without immediate supervision
- The salary range for this position starts at $19.38. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
