Inside Sales Representative for Shapes will work with specific branch customers to be Best-in-Class for Customer Experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong sales and communication skills, have a proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and demonstrating ability to grow revenue and optimize margins by bringing value to the customer base. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering the customer’s experience, set expectations, quote and maintain relationships among B and C level branch and purchasing personnel, and provide the day-to-day activities of distribution branches via the regional sales pod structure. The Inside Sales Representative will work with the Sales Support team to verify and document all information pertaining to orders are accurate. The Inside Sales Representative will be a support mechanism for the Senior Inside Sales Representative and the Key Account Manager for day-to-day activities, while having responsibility for specific assigned branch accounts.

Leadership And Strategy
- Responsibility for specific assigned B and C level customer branches within a region.
- Collaborate with the Senior Inside Sales Representative and Key Account Manager for day to day activities for larger regional and key accounts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the inside sales team.
- Analyze performance data and implement improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Key Account Manager and Sales Inside Sales Representative to gain knowledge and experience for key account plan to achieve agreed upon growth targets while maintaining margins with assigned accounts.
- Manage the commercial interface of key non distribution accounts that do not benefit from outside coverage.
- Quote and maintain all regular communications for specific assigned branch accounts.
- Work with the Sales Support team to accurately verify and complete all pricing documentation necessary to complete an order.
- Establish and maintain relationships among B and C level branch and purchasing personnel
- Communicate and respond effectively and in a timely manner for the specific B and C level branch accounts to ensure best-in-class customer experience.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer experience.
- Foster a culture of safety by communicating possible unsafe conditions.
- Focus on working safely every day with every task.
- Complete required safety training.
- Work and communicate with the Senior Inside Sales Representative on escalations and communication to the customer as necessary.
- Answer customer questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Have experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, and/or 3 plus years of Inside sales service in chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and troubleshoot order issues.
- Competency in using sales-related technologies, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products, industries, and customer needs.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.
- Effective presentation skills for diverse audiences, including technical and purchasing staff.
- Capability to think critically and provide solutions to customer challenges.
- Ability to listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
- The salary range for this position is $54,550-$68,185. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
