- Create job travelers for production personnel to provide clear instructions and guidelines for each manufacturing order.
- Coordinate and expedite all aspects of manufacturing orders internal or external throughout the facility, monitoring progress and identifying potential delays.
- Communicate the status of orders to the sales department to keep them informed and manage customer expectations.
- Collaborate with all manufacturing departments to ensure timely and accurate order completion, addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
- Serve as a liaison between between inside sales and production.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the production process.
- Utilize the ERP manufacturing software system to input and track production data, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Proficient in using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, with prior training and experience in its operation of at least 1 year.
- A 4-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent education/experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working with manufacturing software systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of production processes.
- Proficiency in using Windows applications and software for day-to-day tasks.
- Training or experience in reading engineering blueprints, allowing for accurate interpretation and communication of technical details.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a coordinating or planning role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with various departments and stakeholders.
- The salary for this position starts at $64,691. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
