- Utilize Fork Truck to move & stage material; understands Pallet Weight Restrictions.
- Perform Movex transactions, as required.
- Perform Housekeeping / TPEM / 5S, as required.
- Perform duties of Center Weld Position:
- Stamp Press
- Banding Equipment
- Hand Skiving
- Packaging Material
- Deburring
- Adhere to proper packaging requirements.
- Record quality information on QA sheets, verification of calibration, & inspect work in-process.
- Perform Welding operation:
- Read Manufacturing Orders
- Product Identification
- Identify Weld failures
- Check product quality
- Read & comprehend Blueprints.
- Perform Weld set-up:
- Enter / edit data settings
- Troubleshoot & adjust weld settings
- Sword cleaning
- Perform Debeader set-up & operation.
- Review existing work in-progress with Crew Leaders & other Welders.
- Prep sheets by using Router & misc. hand tools, as needed.
- Be aware of when equipment requires maintenance & notify proper personnel.
- Perform operation of Plug Machine.
- Perform basic Sawing operations.
- Production of Capped Bolts.
- Understand warehouse locations, skid tags, sheet labels, & basic plant layout.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrate measurement skills; ability to use various measuring devices with above-average accuracy.
- Computer literate.
- Demonstrated ability in use of saws.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to operate a Forklift.
- Basic understanding of Quality Control.
- History of Safe Working Behaviors.
- Ability to solve problems / troubleshoot, with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Physical abilities – refer to job analysis.
- The salary for this position is $19.38. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
