What You’ll Do:
- On-Site Service & Maintenance: Perform preventive and remedial maintenance, field modifications, and testing of CPSD products.
- Equipment Assembly: Assist in assembling high voltage switchgear with precision and quality control, ensuring every part works seamlessly.
- Lead with Safety: Kick off each day with a morning briefing, focusing on safety, planned work activities, and hazard mitigation.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Identify, evaluate, and repair issues within AC and DC circuits, ensuring our customers' operations run smoothly.
- Customer Interaction: Be the face of MEPPI on the job site, providing top-notch service and recommendations to customers.
- Emergency Support: Be ready to jump into action when emergency field service is needed—because keeping the power on is critical.
Who You Are:
- Education & Experience: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, with 0-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical or electronic products. We’re also interested in candidates with equivalent education and hands-on experience!
- Tech Savvy: You know your way around mechanical and electronic test equipment, and you can navigate schematics and facility one-line drawings with ease.
- Problem Solver: Your analytical skills help you diagnose and resolve issues quickly, minimizing downtime for our customers.
- Communicator: You’ve got the interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and suppliers, and the presentation skills to make your ideas heard.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products and comfortable working with MRP/ERP systems.
