MEPPI's High Voltage Switchgear Division (HVSD) is seeking a detail-oriented Production Clerk II to perform essential administrative tasks that ensure customer commitments are met and production flows efficiently. This role is vital in maintaining organized job order information, updating schedules, and supporting production teams with critical documentation and data management.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Job Order Information: Prepare, update, maintain, and file job order details and shop folders for all production jobs.
- Maintain Customer Order Due Dates: Update due dates on customer order lines to ensure accurate scheduling and timely deliveries.
- Handle Short-Shipped Material: Create and track documentation for short-shipped material to ensure proper resolution.
- Coordinate Nameplate Information: Collect, organize, and distribute necessary details for purchasing and engraving of nameplates.
- Process Engineering Changes: Review, process, distribute, and maintain a master file of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Releases (ERs), including material substitutions.
- Utilize Business Systems: Operate the MRP/ERP system to input and update data, generate reports, and track inventory jobs.
- Support Production Scheduling: Update production schedules as needed and collaborate with the Production Scheduler to ensure accuracy.
- Track Inventory Jobs: Process paperwork, track parts, and control schedules for all inventory-related jobs.
What You Bring:
- Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a production operation—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong organizational and data management skills to ensure production accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration Skills:
- Ability to work closely with production, scheduling, and engineering teams to maintain smooth operations.
