MEPPI's Transportation Systems Division (TSD) is looking for a talented Mechanical Technician II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of assembling cutting-edge transportation products that drive innovation and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Take your skills to the next level by performing advanced electro-mechanical assembly tasks, working with complex wiring, and ensuring every product meets our high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with experienced Senior Technicians on high-voltage insulation testing and get hands-on with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair non-conforming products, helping us continually improve our processes.
- Bring your expertise to the table by interpreting technical drawings, mechanical blueprints, and electrical schematics, ensuring every assembly is top-notch.
- An Associate’s degree in electronics or a related technical field, plus 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience reading and understanding technical drawings and diagrams, with a keen eye for quality.
- Basic computer skills, particularly with MS Office and ERP systems.
