We are seeking a HVDC and FACTS Control Systems Expert to drive advanced control systems design, programming, and implementation for groundbreaking HVDC and FACTS projects within the Substation Division (SSD). This role demands expertise in control, communication, and cybersecurity technologies to shape the future of sustainable power.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop advanced control systems for HVDC and FACTS projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cybersecurity measures for HVDC and FACTS system hardware and software.
* Conduct site commissioning tests for HVDC and FACTS systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
* Provide technical expertise and oversight of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and field/site acceptance tests (SAT).
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
* Advanced experience with control systems design and programming
* Advanced knowledge of HVDC and FACTS technologies.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and protocols.
