We are seeking a Power Electronics Systems Lead to drive advanced power electronics system design, programming, and implementation for groundbreaking FACTS and HVDC projects within the Substation Division (SSD). This role demands expertise in control, communication, and cybersecurity technologies to shape the future of sustainable power.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop advanced power electronics systems for FACTS and HVDC projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cybersecurity measures for FACTS & HVDC system hardware and software.
* Conduct site commissioning tests for FACTS and HVDC systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
* Provide technical expertise and oversight of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and field/site acceptance tests (SAT).
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
* Advanced experience with power electronics system design and programming
* Advanced knowledge of FACTS & HVDC technologies.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and protocols.
