What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tooling Controller (12 month Fixed Term Contract) (Internal Applicants only) position at Mitsubishi Power Europe?
Working closely with the Field Service Tooling Team, the Tooling Controller will be responsible for executing site-based tasks relating to tooling and assisting with pre and post outage tasks when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment and tooling are correctly stored, labelled and located in appropriate place.
- Carrying out routine perpetual stock check and annual stock taking of equipment and tooling.
- Carry out routine inspections of tooling, ensuring any potential defective tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration
- Travel to sites within the EUK region and support with Outages, providing an efficient and accurate service throughout the event.
- Receipting goods in, checking quantities and serial numbers (where applicable).
- Picking and preparing equipment and tooling for despatch.
- Become familiar with warehouse inventory systems (Database), (SAP) and (MD).
- Ensure all paperwork from receipts and despatches handled are passed to relevant person in co-ordination team.
- Use of lifting equipment / tooling with an understanding of PUWER regulations
- Familiar with safe handling of hazardous materials and the COSHH (training will be provided)
