What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Staff Accountant position at Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America, Inc. is in search for a JR Staff Accountant for the Itasca, IL location.
Under the supervision of the General Manager of Accounting, the Jr. Staff Accountant will be responsible for account analysis, month end reporting, assist with account receivables/payables and assist with audits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monthly and Quarterly Journal Entries
- Accounts Analysis
- Auditor Reports
- Filing
- Complete special projects as requirement by management
- Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA management
Job Requirements:
- B.B.A. with a Major in Accounting
- Understanding of GAAP
- No experience required. Internship experience a plus.
- Some experience with an ERP system
- Strong computer skills including excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Must be able to occasionally move and or lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand throughout the workday
