Grocery Store Associate

Cashier/Grocery Department

• Accurately handling customer cash and card payments
• Greets customers and courteously responds to inquiries
• Stocks, rotates, and faces products on floor shelves as needed
• Places store displays and ensures that products are properly labeled and tagged
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ad items, and gives customers directions for the location of products throughout the store
• Ensures that checkout areas are properly maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times
• All other related duties as assigned

Deli Department

• Food preparation; making “Bento”, “Sushi” and all other “Ready to Eat Meals”
• Responsible for ensuring that floor shelves are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality products for customers
• Maintains high standards on product freshness and hygiene
• Filling, maintaining and rotating products and displays
• Provides premium customer service, including greeting them and courteously responding to inquiries
• Ensures that kitchen tools and work areas are properly maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times
• All other related duties as assigned

Front/Office Clerk

• Responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical duties and related tasks, including in-store personnel and accounting procedures pursuant to company policies and procedures
• Responsible for cashier’s duties, providing customer service, and all other necessary duties for the successful operation of the store
• Responsible for performing duties as directed by team leaders, store managers, and corporate managers from the headquarters
• All other related duties as assigned

Grocery Stocker

• Required to work for 3 hours per day from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, up to 18 hours a week
• Stock merchandise
• Place the price tags properly on items and ensure that price signs are placed on the shelves correctly
• Keep store shelves organized properly and filled with appropriate items at all times
• Keep the store shelves, floor, and back room area very clean and maintain organization
• Must be able and willing to do physically demanding work; must be able to walk around the store and lift merchandise, etc.
• All other related duties assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
