Processes work orders, locates products, and packages orders for shipment according to the production schedule and customer specifications.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Select and package a variety of materials that require a limited variety of packaging procedures and techniques
- Place, organize, mark, seal, and label items on pallets and containers, containers, and bulk storage.
- Consolidate multiple items for shipment according to standard operating instructions
- Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipment.
- Count and sort various product items.
- Perform related tasks, such as placing labels on packages and handling boxes in preparation for shipment.
- Ensure accurate shipping information is attached
- Produces in quantity and quality levels according to production requirements.
- Keeps the area, work tables, equipment and tools in a clean and tidy condition.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of routine selection procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures is preferred.
- Skilled at reading specifications and identifying the right parts to fulfill customer orders.
- Must have demonstrated mechanical ability and ability to use various assembly tools.
- Requires basic numeracy and ability to measure, count, and weigh products and materials.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- It must be motivated, reliable, and quality- and safety-oriented.
- Requires the use of proper body mechanics for pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
- Push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs
- Requires fine motor movement of hands and arms, manual dexterity and coordination.
- Requires close visual acuity
- It requires working and operating departmental teams.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department of the facility.
- Requires the ability to function professionally under stressful circumstances.
