Position Summary
Perform duties to calibrate customers' precision measuring tools and instruments in accordance with national and international standards, and written procedures in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

What You'll Do:
1. Perform calibration on gage blocks, measuring instruments, and tools in accordance with written procedures, and applicable standards.
2. Develop and edit basic part programs on CMM, Vision, and Form equipment used in the laboratory.
3. Perform calibration on check standards and other artifacts for inter-laboratory comparison & round-robin.
4. Maintain calibration of working masters used in the laboratory.
5. Complete certification documentation for completed calibration work and maintain copies for files.
6. Prepare instruments and tools for return shipping to customers.
7. Assist the manager with maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation.
8. Perform calibration of incoming Field Service gages and maintain records.
9. Analyze history comparison charts on Field Service and customer gages to evaluate changes and stability.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: Calibration Lab where incumbent is exposed to cleaning chemicals (denatured alcohol).
Physical Demands: Must wear personal protective equipment when in lab such as: booties, lab coat, and gloves.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Monday – Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Travel: There is no travel for this position.
Required Education and Experience: High School Education or equivalent; additional specialized training. 1 year experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Additional Eligibility Requirements Use of small tools, gage block comparator, universal length measuring machine, optical comparator, surface tester, calibration tester, roundness machine, QV machine and other laboratory equipment, ability to calculate simple math equations,
