What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Host/Support Staff position at MIX?
We are seeking a part-time Host to join our team at MIX Restaurant in Ithaca, NY. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued while contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our restaurant. Other responsibilities will include answering the phone and handling inquiries and reservations and coordinating guest flow with the kitchen and FOH staff. Bussing of tables and assisting with running food will also be required from time to time. The position is for 3-4 shifts during our dinner periods (from 4:15pm to around 9:30pm), and brunch (8:45am to around 3pm). Pay is 15.50 plus a portion of support staff tips.
