Job description
Our school is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Esthetics Instructor to join our team. A successful individual capable of demonstrating high-quality techniques and technical knowledge, as well as providing students with the skills and experience needed to succeed as a professional. This position requires flexibility and the willingness to teach a variety of classes and techniques. We are also seeking a passionate and dedicated individual whose goal is to help our students improve their skills and advance their careers.
Responsibilities:
- Be a great teacher.
- Be a role model for your students.
- Provide a safe and clean learning environment.
- Manage the class schedule and room assignments.
- Plan lesson plans and manage student progress in a timely manner.
- Manage the class schedule to ensure that students progress according to schedule.
- Keep up with all state and federal cosmetology laws and rules.
- Manage not only the classroom but also the student salon.
Qualifications:
· Applicant must have a valid California Esthetician License (2 years minimum)
· At least two or more years of Skin Case experience
· Have a positive attitude, be a team player, self-motivated, energetic, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
· Proven success in spa business skills, building clientele, and upselling retail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
