Description:
Activities Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment, and individual treatment. Participate in team treatment planning sessions. Conduct activity therapy (group or individual) sessions displaying theoretical knowledge and quality treatment technique. Engage in effective discharge planning. Additionally, function well as a member of a multidisciplinary team and participating on the unit as needed and any community relation programs. Display excellent communication skills. Support hospital mission, vision and values, as well as all policies and procedures. Must make sure unit meets all state regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Degree preferred in a related field of study with a requirement of 1-2 years experience as an Activity Coordinator or Therapist or an equivalent years of direct related work experience. Hospital experience preferred. Certified Activity Professional preferred or started within three (3) months. You must possess good computer skills. BLS required.
