MLS/MLT FT Laboratory: MLS/MLTFull Time Evening & Night Shift Positions
Education: AS or BS and completion of approved medical technology school or appropriate science program from an accredited college or university.
License: Registered as ASCP MLT/MLS or AMT MLT/MLS
Skills: 1 year of experience preferred
Must be able to perform, interpret and correlate all laboratory duties as a generalist in the hospital lab to assist in diagnosis, treatment and monitoring. Work areas will include hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology. You must be proficient in performing venipuncture on all age patients. Must be able to multitask, make good decisions, handle stressful situations and work within rigid time constraints. You must possess the ability to work alone. Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures on equipment/instruments and maintain appropriate records. Monitor and request supplies as needed. Work as scheduled or as Needed, rotate between shifts as needed. You must be able to communicate effectively with all departments and provide excellent customer service. Any other duties as assigned.
