Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (FT) Education: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program. Both require two to four years undergraduate coursework with a focus in science or healthcare related experience.

Requirements: Must be CPR/BLS, ACLS, & PALS certified. Computer skills are required. Must have excellent social skills, professional demeanor and leadership skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure, manage multiple priorities, manage stress and detail oriented.

Duties Include:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be involved in diagnosing the patient’s problems and performing treatments to cure them related to patient’s age specific needs. They will conduct the initial patient medical history examination, in order to determine the cause of illness, including ordering tests, performing minor procedures, and prescribing medications to patients.

Responsible for ensuring various medical tools and equipments are in working order to provide the necessary medical care to the patients. Stay updated with the latest information about medical processes.
