NURSING HOUSE SUPERVISOR (WEEKENDS 7A-7P) Nursing Administration: Weekend House Supervisor

7a-7p Friday-Sunday

Requirements: RN- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred; current licensure in state of Alabama; BLS/ACLS required and PALS & NRP preferred. Must demonstrate leadership, managerial ability and the application of good interpersonal relationships and principles of supervision and administration. Requires good computer skills and sound clinical knowledge of current nursing practices. Must have good organizational skills along with critical thinking skills and be efficient in meeting deadlines and tight-time lines.

Duties Include: Duties will include coordinating the nursing care of patients for the management of all nursing units, ensure the quality of care delivered on these units with cooperation through nursing administration to establish major objectives and standards of nursing practice. Assist with the management and direction of the nursing units according to State, Federal and other Accrediting Agency regulations. Assist with the planning and directing of QA, Infections Control and Employee Health issues. Other duties as assigned.
