Occupational Therapist FT Therapy: Occupational Therapist Full Time
Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p
Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
License: License in the State of Alabama
Certification preferred
CPR certification
Provide occupational therapy services for various patients by assessment which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance. Must document and record the patient’s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate occupational therapy method. You must be able to handle stressful situations and complete all work in a timely manner. You must maintain an ethical and professional working relationship with co-workers and medical staff as well as adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. You must provide excellent customer service and maintain all patient records and information as confidential. You must perform all duties as assigned by the supervisor.
