Patient Care Technician Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certified Nursing Assistant certificate is preferred.

Skills & Experience: One year of certified nursing experience is preferred. Verbal and written communication skills required. CPR is required, but can be received upon hire.

Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of an LPN or Registered Nurse and receive written and/or oral assignments and direction. Provide appropriate personal hygiene to patients, deliver clean linen to patient rooms and assist with bed changes. Measure and accurately report vital signs, intake and output and weights of patient. Collect and deliver specimens, assist with admission, discharge, transfer and transporting patients. Assist patients in and out of bed and to and from wheelchairs and stretchers. Help in the ER or other areas as needed. Assist patients with meals. Utilize infection control and safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
