SUMMARY : The Case Packer Operator performs duties to setup, changeover and monitor case packer, case sealer, case coder, vision system when applicable, case erector when applicable and assist dumping station.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform duties to setup and monitor case packer
Setup case sealer and monitor.
Setup and monitor case coder.
Setup and monitor vision system if applicable.
Perform changeovers to case packer, case sealer and case coder.
Changeover and monitor case erectors when applicable.
Assist dumping station when applicable plus maintain accurate records of containers dumped.
Monitor operations of equipment in a safe and efficient manner, making adjustment as needed.
Perform line cross checks verifying correct label and code application.
Fill on bottling as needed.
Follow safety rules and keep work area clean, sanitized and orderly.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Responsible for food product quality and safety.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to use hand tools.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to work and function in a team environment. Ability to lift above 70lbs
