What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bulk Production Operator position at Mizkan?
Job Title: Bulk Operator I
This is a vital role within our plant, responsible for producing and moving liquid mixes in a safe and sanitary manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all plant safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety rules and regulations.
- Document and complete paperwork procedures according to job requirements.
- Operate pumps, hoses, piping, etc. to meet production and shipping schedules.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- 1 year experience within a food processing environment preferred.
- Ability to use hoist, intoxilyzer, titrator, agitator, spectrophotometer, forklift, and common hand tools.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate must be able to work in high temperatures (hot or cold), at heights, and be exposed to strong smells, dust, gases, fumes, and chemicals.
