As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety rules and regulations. Your primary objective will be to ensure the continuous operation of production lines while performing manual tasks to support this process.
Key Responsibilities
- Learns and safely operates various machinery and production equipment, up to and including changing over equipment.
- Performs manual tasks to support the continuous operation of production lines.
- Maintains simple records and paperwork related to the position.
- Performs sanitation maintenance on all equipment required of the position.
- Performs basic computer skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, required.
- 1-2 years previous experience in food manufacturing, preferred.
Working Conditions
- Flexible to work overtime in different shifts and at times with short-notice.
- Intermittent lifting of over 50 pounds without assistance or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work respectfully and efficiently with others.
- Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity.
