Key Responsibilities
- Learn and safely operate various machinery and production equipment.
- Perform manual tasks to support the continuous operation of production lines.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork related to the position.
- Perform regular sanitation maintenance on all equipment required of the position.
- Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
- Ensure high-quality food products and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime in different shifts and at times with short notice.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds without assistance or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success.
- Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties accurately.
- Ability to record data on paper and/or using computer systems efficiently.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, at heights, and exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and chemicals.
