At Mizkan America, Inc., we prioritize a safe working environment with zero accidents. The selected candidate will be responsible for adhering to plant safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and food safety rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and safely operate various machinery and production equipment.
- Perform manual tasks to support the continuous operation of production lines.
- Maintain simple records and paperwork related to the position.
- Perform sanitation maintenance on all equipment required of the position.
- Utilize basic computer skills.
- Ensure food quality and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime in different shifts and at times with short notice.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds without assistance or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties.
- Ability to record data on paper and/or using computer systems.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, at heights, and exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and chemicals.
