Job Title: A/C Technician
Department: Clubhouse Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Facilities
Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced A/C Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting HVAC systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
- Proven experience as an A/C Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Essential Duties & Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Install, inspect, and repair air conditioning systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in A/C units and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Replace or repair defective components, such as compressors, fans, and motors.
- Handle refrigerants responsibly in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Test and adjust system performance using specialized tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry regulations.

- Ability to problem solve, and resolve a variety of issues in the technical field.
- Ability to interoperate, read and write English, follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
