Youth Activities Attendant Overview
We are seeking a Youth Activities Attendant for our Kids’ Club within Mizner Country Club. This position reports to the Director of Wellness & Family Activities and is responsible for supervising and interacting with the children of our exclusive membership, ensuring a safe and entertaining environment.

Schedule: This position requires flexibility in scheduling, able to work holidays, weekends, and sometimes late shifts.
Job Type: Part Time
Pay: Starting at $14.00, based on experience.
Qualifications
A positive attitude, kind and friendly disposition, and enthusiasm for entertaining children of all ages. An innate understanding of children and the ability to handle all manner of unexpected situations that may arise.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Ascertain that members accompany their children to and from the facility, signing them in and out each time.
· Maintain constant supervision of, and interaction with, the children.
· Keep children entertained with play, reading, toys, arts & crafts.
· Change diapers, provide snacks, and clean messes as necessary.
· Deal with any issues that may arise in a competent and patient manner.
· Maintain a safe environment for the children and other staff members.
· Clean and reorganize Mizner Kids at the end of each shift.
· Close all charges and have members sign chits as they arrive to pick up their children.
· Supervise and assist children at events involving Mizner Kids
· Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
Physical Demands
Employees will need to be able to carry young children without difficulty, bend to assist children and clean up messes, and must possess an energy level sufficient to maintain supervision and interaction with children for the duration of the assigned shift.
Working Environment
Employees will be working in a small, limited drop-in childcare facility on the Mizner Country Club property. Care must be taken to avoid creating or allowing any safety hazards to arise for children and other staff members. Spills and messes must be cleaned promptly, and small objects must be kept out of reach of babies and toddlers under the age of 3 years. Vigilant supervision of children is necessary to prevent accidents and to immediately intervene in potentially dangerous situations.
