SCOPE:
The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting in shipping, receiving and inspecting inventories. Assists the supervisor in maintaining inventory control by performing inventory audits. This position requires knowledge of company products, company functions, service policies and procedures as well as company loaner and field loaner logistics.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Understands, supports and follows the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements.
2. Understands, follows and supports Mizuho’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including, but not limited to, applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).
- In the course of daily activities, identifies and corrects any procedural non-compliance in Receiving or Main Stores that impacts inventory accuracy.
3. Office Responsibilities
- Assists in processing adjustments and transfers as necessary. Reviews all adjustments with the supervisor before submitting to accounting for posting.
4. Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities
- Complies with ISO/FDA policies and company SOPs with regard to receiving, inspection, storage and shipping.
- Maintains and ensures all items are properly labeled and identified; researches saleable items for obsoleteness.
- Responsible for receiving incoming products for the saleable inventory, repairs, and the demo/sample inventory. Stores items in clearly designated locations. Tears down boxes and stores in recycle bins.
- Responsible for packaging and shipping saleable inventories and demo/samples to hospitals and Sales Force using FedEx and UPS software.
- Ensures proper receipt, disposition and shipment of returned products needing repairs.
- Processes and records trial set inventories sent to Sales and dealers/distributors

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. ERP software experience is a plus
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
4. Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and accurately
5. Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and graphing at intermediate level
6. Ability to use scale counting equipment and material handling equipment
7. Ability to work on a flexible schedule to meet business demands, i.e.08 month-end and some weekends
