Windows Engineer

Join the Mizuho team as a Windows Engineer! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows Engineer with a strong background in M365, Active Directory and Messaging. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Exchange, Windows, Active Directory, Teams, and other Microsoft core technologies, plus a working knowledge of Proofpoint or similar products. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is a must. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, specifically focusing on M365 and Active Directory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on variety of projects Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to M365, Active Directory, Exchange, Proofpoint, and Teams. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. Participate in project design sessions, products and vendor selections, capacity planning Conduct performance monitoring, tuning, and reporting to ensure optimal system functionality. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Windows and other infrastructure. Participate in on-call rotation Be able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical teams. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of technical experience (Financial industry preferred). Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience as a Windows Engineer with a focus on M365 and Active Directory. Strong knowledge of Exchange and Teams and other messaging platforms Experience with Proofpoint or similar products Extensive experience with ITIL based IT Service Management procedures (ServiceNow preferred platform) Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Experience with system upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Expertise with VMware Horizon, Citrix XenApp or AVD is a plus The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$155k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
