Job Summary
Mizuho U.S. Operations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Stress Testing and Capital Analysis team as an Assistant Vice President. In this role, you will be involved in developing and enhancing stress testing scenarios, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the stress testing scenarios for risk management, risk appetite, capital planning based on internal requirements and supervisory guidance (CCAR).
- Drive the scenario expansion efforts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of material risk factors.
- Implement stress scenarios in various valuation systems, perform UAT for scenario changes.
- Produce comprehensive stress test results explains that provide insights into the risk drivers, facilitating clear communication with risk management and other stakeholders.
- Use stress results and RWA forecasts to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Conduct scenario and historical data consistency checks using advanced analytical tools.
- Develop tools and processes to improve stress testing accuracy, reliability, and attribution.
- Review existing stress testing scenarios and coordinate with stakeholders to evaluate reasonableness and severity.
Qualifications
The expected base salary ranges from $90,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
