What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Finance Credit Reviewer position at MJ Boyd Consulting?
As a junior Project Finance credit reviewer, work as part of the Credit Review team within the broader risk team to complete team objectives and initiatives. The primary responsibility of this role is to complete Project Finance credit reports and support team oversight reporting. This position will assist a senior Project Finance credit reviewer to maintain and enhance the Project Finance review process of the Branch.
Tasks include :
- With training and support as needed, prepare Project Finance credit related reports. This includes liaison with colleagues from different departments to obtain necessary information, research and analyze various data sources to obtain data and context needed to prepare reports.
- Maintain and enhance Project Finance credit review processes and update relevant Policy and Procedures.
- Provide credit review opinions by applying credit rating models and methodologies in credit reports and targeted credit reviews.
- Communicate and support discussion with regulators and / or auditors for the branch’s project finance exposure together with the senior Project Finance credit reviewer as needed.
- Analyze and verify reports for accuracy and provide remedial actions to achieve integrity before reporting to senior management.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide analysis and data as needed.
- Preparation, presentation and discussion for monthly branch credit committees and other meetings as needed
