Job Title: Chemical Process Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Chemical Process Engineer in the Belton, MO area.
As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes and making improvements. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting equipment and processes, developing and improving line layouts, and overseeing timelines and budgets for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing manufacturing processes and making improvements
- Troubleshooting equipment and processes
- Developing and improving line layouts
- Overseeing timelines and budgets for up to 4-6 projects at a time
- Monitoring production metrics and KPIs
- Partnering with quality engineers to resolve quality and operational issues
- Working closely with hourly and salary staff to achieve production and engineering goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 1-3 years of process engineering experience
- Experience working in related process-oriented manufacturing environments
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic project management skills
- Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Preferred Skills:
- ERP experience
- PLCs, robotics and/or automation experience
- Lean Certification
- Experience overseeing contractors
- 2D and/or 3D modeling experience
