FW Logistics is an experienced logistic service provider that is big enough to handle supply chain logistics needs while still being small enough to give specialized service. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator .
As a Forklift Operator your ability to perform your duties to ensure that customer needs are met, and day-to-day Warehouse actives are executed in a safe and efficient manner are critical to the success of FW Logistics. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Represent FW Logistics courteously and professionally at all times
Load, unload, move, locate, relocate, and / or stack merchandise in a safe; accurate, and orderly manner using an industrial forklift
Assist in physical inventories as required by the supervisor
Ensure racks are efficiently used by moving products as necessary to free up space and ensure product is free from damage
Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and turned in at the end of the shift
Safely operate forklift obeying all forklift safety rules
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must have high school diploma or GED
Minimum of 6 months of operating a forklift in a warehouse, fulfillment center, distribution center or manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently
Must be able to sit and / or stand for long periods of time
Able to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level
Able to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures fluctuate based on external and internal weather conditions
Successful completion of site certification after training is required for employees assigned to this account
